title: Clam class...again

yet againg another boring clam class...but the earth must be off of its axis again, becuase tomorrow (january 24) it is suposed to be 10 degrees !!!! it is the middle of January it is suposed to be freezing outside just he other week it was blizzarding outside!!! What is wrong with this picture.... GLOBAL WARMING!!!! Also yesterday in social i found out that i am going to die from a super bug... which one you ask, take your pick we have bird flu, SARS, HIV/AIDS, TB, west nile. but on a better note, tonight is our dress rehersal at dance!!! and i am super excited about going! You know you're from Alberta when....> The word "vacation" means going to Calgary or Edmonton for the weekend. > You measure distance in hours. > You often switch from heat to a/c in the same day. > You know several people who have hit a deer more than once. > You use a down filled comforter in the summertime. > Your grandparents drive at 100km/hour through 4 metres of snow during a blizzard, without flinching. > You use windshield washer fluid that has anti-freeze in it, which is good till -45degrees. > You carry jumper cables in your car, and every passenger, including the kids, know how to use them. > Your halloween costumes were all designed to fit over a snow suit. > You prefer driving in the winter because all the pot-holes are filled. > You are well aquainted with the four seasons: Almost Winter, Winter, Still Winter, and Construction. > Gopher = Speed Bump > Coyotes arent cute, cuddly puppies or ferocious beasts, they are target practice. > You are bundled up in three sweaters, a parka or big heavy coat, ski pants, a toque, a scarf, two pairs of mittens, three pairs of socks, boots past your knees and three feet of snow, in a -35degree blizzard (which is -8000 with the windchill), your eyelashes are frozen together, your nose wont stop running, you cant feel your toes, the parts of your face that arent covered feel like they might fall off, and you still go down to the gas station to get a Slurpee on your way home from the ski hill or hockey. > You understand all these jokes and are nodding your head right now. date: Friday, January 12, 2007
title: oh no!!! not exams!

Exams: the dreadful thing that happens twice ever year; plus physics is one of the dreadful subjectsbut i do believe that i did good on my test today, and Flan let me study in calm class which should not have ever happened if i was in the other class... but he likes me and holly, such examples are giving holly chocolate becuase she saw him eating it and asked for some. Tomorrow is our band bottle drive, and it is suposed to be freezing... but my mom is driving us, and we are going to go down corey's street/area...what ever you call it funny story with that one... last year when we were doing the bottle drive (kelly, shauna, and myself) were going to this one house, and they had all of these hockey sticks up against the side of the house. So we knock on the door and preech our cause to this really cute guy... fast forward a year to the bus ride home when kelly realized that it was corey's house as we drive past it, when the whole embarassing story comes out. Right now i am eating to make ready for hibernation during the blizzard!i don't tan real well so i am going to be a polar bear and hibernate for a while... plus the less stupid social classes that i can miss, the better. but because of the crazy weather... i missed dance, which sucks big time! but that is all that i have time for right now... must start hibernating! |
